ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey

What is an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey? A boundary survey and drawing (plat) which meets the requirements of ALTA (American Land Title Association) and the ACSM  (American Congress on Surveying and Mapping) and incorporates review of the Title Search provided.

The survey provides information on boundary lines, location of building and includes enhancements, placement of ancillary buildings,  and provides information on utility locations.  ALTA surveys are one of the more intricate surveys and can take a couple of weeks to complete.  This specific type of survey is completed on commercial properties more often then residential.
